John is an experienced Corporate Chief Executive with a background in Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Production and New Product Development. Over a period of 35 years, John has worked in a variety of different sectors and has accumulated a wealth of expertise in change management, lean manufacturing and business improvement techniques.
Through his work on the boards of organisations such as the Business Link, Engineering Forum, Learning Skills Council and the Chamber of Commerce, John has developed an outstanding knowledge of regional organisations and working in the development and partnership throughout the midlands, both within the public and private sector.
John enjoys adopting a hands-on style and has developed a talent for converting strategies into action, success and cost savings. JHC Skills for Business also draws on the expertise of a team of associate assessors and trainers, all of whom have extensive industrial experience. Our associates have direct practical experience of applying the business improvement model at operational and senior management level within a variety of different industries.
Associate, David Bygrave
David is a chartered engineer with a wide range of technical and senior management experiences. He has a very strong industrial background covering the complete process, typically working with high technology Japanese organisations. A practitioner and mentor in developing lean business processes direct to the workforce. He has extensive project management experience gained both not only in the UK but also Europe, USA and Asia. More recently he supported the development of the National Skills Academy ñ Manufacturing to the East of England. David now works on a consultancy basis, delivering Lean Management Skills to businesses. He has delivered over 200 NVQís in BIT over the past 2 years.
